Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing to support the Institute for Respiratory Health. With your help, we can find better ways to treat chronic respiratory conditions through medical research. In supporting the Institute for Respiratory Health, you are agreeing to:
Donations
Due to the nature of charity donations, refunds are given at the discretion of our management. Please make sure that the amount you enter is the amount you wish to give.
In the event of an incorrect amount being entered, or if you have made a duplicate donation or there is an extremely unusual circumstance, please contact us in writing.
If a donation is refunded, the associated tax receipt is no longer valid so it should be securely destroyed. Please note it is your responsibility to submit only correct receipts to the Australian Tax Office.
Ticket sales
We will refund ticket sales five business days prior to the event if the buyer advises that they cannot attend due to illness or misadventure. A cancelled ticket may be given as a donation.
Purpose of your donation
If requested, the Institute for Respiratory Health will always aim to honour the agreed purpose of a donation. If this is not possible, we will direct funds to priority areas within the Institute.
Declining a donation
The Institute for Respiratory Health has the discretion to decline a donation.
Errors by Us
Should the Institute for Respiratory Health make an error, we will make a full refund as soon as possible when notification of the error is received.
