This year’s appeal features the much-loved John Price. John wanted us to share his story again as his battle with the disease has got worse. He now struggles to breathe every day and he needs oxygen therapy support.  

“Normal lungs are like new sponges but sadly mine are like worn out sponges that hold no water. This means I constantly battle to breathe every minute of the day.”

Like John, for the 7.4 million Australians living with a lung disease, it can be a struggle to breathe.
